Christ Church Service Project Opportunity - Saturdays, August 21 and 28
On Saturdays, August 21 and 28 (7-10am), the city of Goodyear is mobilizing between 150-200 volunteers to hang door hangers in several subdivision across Goodyear. Doorhangers will introduce "You Are Not Alone" (YANA) a program designed to provide routine contact with the community's elderly. The teens at Christ Church have invited any adult to participate in this service project with them. Those interested should contact the church office to register. Details will be distributed regarding the specifics relating to this event at a later time.

New Member Inquirer Class - Sunday, August 1
If you would like more information regarding church membership or Christ Presbyterian Church in general, please mark Sunday, August 1, 2010 on your calendar. A New Member Inquirer Class will be held immediately following the 10:45am service at the church. Lunch and child care will be provided. Please contact the Church Office to register and alert the office staff to any dietary restrictions and/or if child care will be required. You need not join the church if you attend, but new members will be welcomed into the church family on Sunday, August 8 during the morning worship services.

Women of Faith is Coming to Phoenix (U.S. Airways Center) - October 1-2
If you are interested in attending this year's Women of Faith Conference entitled Imagine with a group of ladies from Christ Church, it is not too late! Please contact Heather Everett at (623) 388-6280 or by email. The cost of the event is $89 which includes a boxed lunch on both days of the conference. Payment for the conference is due immediately. You may submit your payment to Heather Everett via check (made out to "Heather Everett" with "Women of Faith" on the memo line) or pay online. There are only a few tickets remaining for this event.
