Pastor Robert L SimmonsPastor Rev. Bob Simmons brings gifts of preaching, teaching and exciting people about Christ as he gives clear and inspiring messages every Sunday and assists members to become mature and strong in their faith. Through his leadership and vision, Christ Church has seen changed lives, strengthened families, and a greater outreach to the West Valley community with the love of Christ. Bob is a graduate of Ohio Christian University (BA), Pittsburgh Theological Seminary (STM), and Ashland Theological Seminary (MA and DMin). Bob is passionate about inspiring worship, preaching that connects, teaching that is transformative, and the spiritual formation of every member. His vision is to build a missional community of dedicated followers and servants of Jesus Christ. His challenge to you is to come and join us at Christ Church in the exciting journey of being a Christ-follower. Bob is married to Jeanette and has three full-grown children: Christian, Heather and Heidi. |

Pastor Brett R. EverettDirector - Children, Youth and Christian Education Rev. Brett Everett obtained a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Grove City College in PA. He obtained his Master of Divinity Degree from Winebrenner Theological Seminary in Findlay, OH. His July 2003 ordination prepared him for several positions in Youth and Christian Education. Brett has taught in the formal Christian school setting and brings much enthusiasm to CPC. He is passionate about teaching young people the Bible (his favorite books in the Bible are Romans and Philippians), about investing relationally in the lives of children and teens, and in serving others. He has been active in ministering to children and youth for just shy of 20 years. Brett is married to Heather and has two children: Nathaniel and Hannah. |
